ISO 9001
What is ISO 9001?
ISO 9001 is a family of standards to work with feature management set by the International Organization for Standardization. It outlines a set of requirements that organizations must meet to ensure their processes, products, and services are of consistent quality. The standard is based on a series of quality management principles, including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach, and continual improvement.
It provides a framework for organizations to develop and implement effective quality processes and procedures. The standard requires organizations to identify and address customer needs and expectations and to measure and improve their performance. It also requires the organization to document processes, review and assess the effectiveness of its quality management system, and regularly communicate and review objectives with the staff.
The standard also encourages organizations to use continuous improvement tools such as process mapping and root cause analysis to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them. Finally, the standard requires organizations to develop and maintain a quality policy and set of quality objectives that are aligned with their strategic goals.
How does it work?
ISO 9001 requires us to develop and maintain a quality management system that meets the requirements outlined in the standard. The quality management system includes a set of policies and procedures, which are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure they remain effective. The system also includes processes for monitoring and measuring performance, and for addressing any areas of non-conformance. Our employees are also adequately trained and their quality management system is regularly reviewed and audited to ensure it remains effective.
