OTP (One-Time PIN) Code

A one-time PIN code or OTP is a code that is workable for only one login session or arrangement using a mobile phone. OTP requires two factor authentication or 2FA to give an extra layer of security for the user when he uses an ATM machine or tries to login to a service from a different computer.
The advantage of OTP is that they are not endangered as static passwords and cannot be reused a second time by anyone, including unauthorized persons and thus avoiding the threat of pin code theft.
Modern smartphones perfectly combine with delivering one-time PIN codes from which comforts both the end-users who have already known their gadgets and don’t need to use another one and enterprises that need to deliver them, as using this option decreases their operational costs.
